Take your parents or whomever helped pay for you education out to dinner.

Thank you teachers. Teachers want their students to go on and do great things, but we don't always take the time to thank them. So do it this day.! Let them know how much they've influenced you or just that you appreciate their work.

Wear your graduation cap on top of your head.!  It does not go on the back of your head. Yes, your hair will get crushed and you will look ridiculous but that’s the whole point of the cap.

       Here are some more interesting facts about the band which was rocking in 1960s.

• Jerry Garcia got that perfect band name - "Greatful Dead" while thumbing through a folklore dictionary.

• Jerry formed his first group, Bob and Jerry in 1961 with friend Robert Hunter. The duo only performed a few times under the name.

• Vice president Al Gore and his wife Tipper were both deadheads and gave Jerry a personal tour of the White house.

• After seeing The beetles film" A hard days Night" Jerry was inspired to change his jug band into a rock band. The number of shows played are 2,317 and number of songs performed in concert are 36,086.

•  Their band's concert on August 27, 1972 in Veneta, Oregon, is considered to be one of the very best concerts in the band's long history.

• if you want to hear the just how good the Grateful Dead could be in the studio, check out these two "Workingman's Dead" and  "American Beauty" which are widely considered as classics.

• To be more, their song "Truckin" is a U.S National treasure! Seriously in 1987 the United States Library of Congress recognized the classic Dead song as the national treasure.That ranks it in the same respect as the Declaration of Independence, Constitution, Bill of Rights.
